It is so true—the prophets of the Book of Mormon (and all scripture) really are like us. They are constantly trying to convince us that they, too, have flaws, because they know it&#039;s in our nature to think the spiritual experiences we read about in the scriptures must be reserved for prophets only. But even Moses dismissed this notion: &quot;Enviest thou for my sake? would God that &lt;i&gt;all&lt;/i&gt; the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!&quot; (Numbers 11:29)

Ironically, we have to believe they&#039;re not so different from us for us to realize that we, too, qualify for all the blessings of the gospel. Great talk—thank you.]]></description>
